Advanced Communication and Leadership Manuals

The Advanced Communication and Leadership Program trains you for different speaking situations that Toastmasters can encounter outside the club environment. There are currently 15 Advanced Communication and Leadership (C&L) manuals, and each manual includes five speech projects. Within each of these advanced manuals, the individual projects all focus on a single, specific theme to help Toastmasters improve their speaking skills in that particular area.

After Toastmasters complete the basic Communication and Leadership Program manual and earn their Competent Communicator(CTM) recognition, they are encouraged to further their speaking skills by using these advanced manuals. As you complete some of these advanced manuals, you may earn recognition as an Advanced Communicator (ATM). For further details about advancing along the speaking track of the Toastmasters program, please visit the Educational Program page.

The chart below lists the titles of each of the 15 advanced manual and the catalog number for that manual in the Toastmasters International Supply Catalog, which is also available online. For further details about the specific projects within an advanced manual, please click on the title of that manual. You can order either a complete set of the manuals online (opens in new window) -- set of AC manuals -- or you can order any individual manual online (opens in new window).
